A pathway for players to reach their potential as people as well as basketball players. Our highest-level development track, bringing together Basketball Stars of NY, Downtown Wolves, and Fastbreak Sports across teams, academy training, and camps. Teams are by tryout or invitation (grades 6–12); classes and camps are open for registration.

Metro United is a pathway for players to reach their potential as people as well as basketball players. We aim to teach character through sport. It is our highest-level basketball development pathway, bringing together Basketball Stars of New York, Downtown Wolves, and Fastbreak Sports.
Metro United consists of high-level team offerings as well as classes and camps that run throughout the year. Our philosophy is a Day 1 mentality, giving players environments to stack growth across all of our offerings.

Metro United Teams
Our highest-level competitive teams for grades 6–12. A tryout or invitation is required. Players train three times a week with four sports performance sessions, and compete season-round against the top programs in the region.
Tournament season
Four fall tournaments (September–November) against top local teams in the Tri-State Area, plus three weekly team practices and four sports performance training sessions.
Varsity fall schedule
Grades 10–12 compete in the fall, then shift to spring and summer LIVE PERIOD events built around college exposure.
55 Swish League
League play December through March with weekend games, plus supplemental games for committed teams. Three practices and four performance sessions weekly.
East Coast tournament circuit
April through June and July on A Game, Basketball Shootout, BasketBULL, MADE Hoops, Hoop Group, and Zero Gravity events, including at least one overnight tournament. Grades 10–12 compete in LIVE PERIOD events to expose athletes to the college recruitment process.
Academy Training
Metro United Academy Training
A recreation of our Metro United Summer Academy training environment in a year-round class format. Sessions run Monday through Thursday and are built for athletes currently enrolled in the Metro program, as well as driven players who aspire to become part of Metro United Academy.
Sessions emphasize hard work, competition, discipline, and accountability, training with the intensity needed to develop the toughness, confidence, and work ethic required to succeed.

Camps / Summer Academy
Metro United Camps & Summer Academy
Two ways to train on break, in two different formats: shorter Holiday Camp clinics during school holidays, and our multi-week Summer Academy. Both pair basketball skill development with dedicated sports performance training, in partnership with Harrington Sports Performance.
Half-day clinics
Typically offered as half-day clinics: 9:30 AM–12:00 PM for ages 10–13, and 12:30 PM–3:00 PM for ages 13+. Dates and registration are being finalized — details coming soon.
Multi-week summer training
Runs June 15–August 28 at the Dwight School Athletic Center, 2116 1st Ave (108th–109th St), with rooftop performance sessions. Middle School Academy: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–3:00 PM ($185/day or $795/week). High School Academy: Monday–Thursday, 12:00 PM–5:00 PM ($185/day or $695 for four days). Optional daily transportation from Fastbreak HQ ($20).

College preparation & guidance
Metro United prepares players — and parents — for the next level. Guidance runs through the whole program, from how coaches evaluate to how families navigate recruiting.
College visits
Program visits to campuses including Connecticut College, Wesleyan University, and Trinity College.
Private prospect camps
Prospect camps designed specifically for Metro United players.
Professional communication
Players learn to communicate professionally with coaches via email, text, and social media.
Understanding the levels
Parent education on the collegiate landscape — D1, D2, D3, NAIA, and JUCO.
