Founded by Coach Dave Brown in 2008, Basketball Stars began with a simple idea: teach kids the game through experienced basketball players who share a genuine passion for coaching and mentorship.

Today, Basketball Stars welcomes players of every level — from children learning the game for the first time to dedicated athletes preparing for high school and college basketball. Through teams, clinics, camps, and private training, players develop strong fundamentals, proper technique, confidence, and a lasting love for the game.

At the heart of our program is the belief that basketball is a team sport with lessons that extend far beyond the court. Every player has a valuable role. Developing athletes learn to become great teammates, embrace responsibility, lead by example, compete with purpose, and contribute even when the ball is not in their hands.

Led by longtime director Devon Young and Henry Lieber, our coaches continually work to improve as teachers, mentors, and leaders. They are committed to providing a positive environment where every child is supported and challenged to grow.

Basketball Stars does not simply search for better players — we make the players in our program better. While many of our athletes have gone on to compete successfully in high school and college, our greatest measure of success is helping children build character, create lasting memories, and learn how to thrive as part of a team.
